Pistol Marksmanship

Service Description

Pistol Marksmanship is part 2 of the Pistol Knowledge Class. Pistol Marksmanship consist of actual live fire on a gun range. Participants will review parts of Pistol Knowledge, proper sight alignment and safety as they learn proper shot placement and focus only on keeping a tight shot placement group. Class participants will also break down, clean, oil and reassemble pistols used during live fire training. Participants will then have the opportunity to take the NRA Basic Pistol Exam to become certified in the practice of Basic Pistol. To take the NRA Basic Pistol Exam, participants MUST COMPLETE the Pistol Knowledge course before taking this class. Long sleeve, crew neck tee or sweat shirts are required.  A baseball cap is suggested but not must.  New protective eye wear will be supplied to each student with a pair of disposable hearing protection.
