Service Description

Civilians in NJ can now apply to carry their firearms under the new United States Supreme Court CCW ruling. The ruling upheld the second amendment right to keep and bear arms without the need and proof of justification. ALL applicants in NJ MUST provide a copy of their shooting qualification results when submitting their application packet. To pass, you must shoot at least a 40 out of 50 rounds inside the silhouette of the FBI standard type Q qualification target. Shooters must be able to fire shots using both hands, their dominant hand as well as their non-dominant hand while displaying the safe handling and usage of a holster. To take a shooting qualification test, ALL applicants MUST take a Basic Pistol Course before qualifying. Basic Pistol Class and shooting qualifications will not be taken on the same day. As per The NJ State Attorney General's Office, a new law was passed and revised (as of 7/2023) that ALL applicants submitting applications for permits to carry a firearm must take the new Civilian Use Of Force Training in conjunction with their shooting qualification test. All applicants must bring their own ammo for shooting qualification test.
